Participate in the ICI Waste Diversion Survey(July 7, 2007) BARRHAVEN -- As you are aware, the City is developing a strategy on how to to reduce waste going to local landfills by increasing the amount of industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) waste that is recycled. Over 30 options are being considered in a Discussion Paper, now available for public review. Residents, businesses, and institutions are encouraged to review the Discussion Paper and provide comments. A report on public feedback with draft recommendations will be tabled at the City's Planning & Environment Committee in the early fall.
